After more than two years of court proceedings, the Civil Court of First Instance of Yerevan (Judge: Alfred Vardanyan), in Civil Case No. ED/3181/02/23, rejected the claim seeking to hold our client Aram Mikayelyan liable for defamation and insult.
We highly appreciate the judge’s professionalism in conducting the proceedings, as well as the thorough and reasoned approach in justifying the judicial act. Respect and trust toward the judicial system and justice are built and strengthened thanks to such judges and fair rulings.
We also thank our client, Aram Mikayelyan, for his restraint and patience throughout the entire trial, as well as for the professional respect he showed toward the opposing party. In court, Aram Mikayelyan reiterated that he never had the intent or desire to personally insult or defame anyone. He even refused to seek reimbursement for his legal expenses, emphasizing the importance of legality and justice above all.
